Welcome to Ysgol Gynradd Pontsenni website.  We are a Welsh and English dual stream community primary school within the local authority of Powys.  We hope that you find all the information you need about our happy and successful school. Join with us to share and celebrate some activities and experiences on offer to the children.

Mae Pontsenni yn bentref sydd wedi'i leoli ym Mharc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog sy'n adnabyddus am ei dirweddau golygfaol a'i weithgareddau awyr agored. Mae Pontsenni wedi'i leoli tua 9 milltir i'r gorllewin o Aberhonddu, 12 milltir i'r dwyrain o Lanymddyfri a thua 17 milltir i'r Gogledd-ddwyrain o Ystradgynlais. O fewn ardal Pontsenni a'r ardaloedd lleol cyfagos mae'r ysgol gynradd leol, siopau'r pentref, y ganolfan iechyd, gorsafoedd petrol, capeli ac eglwysi, tafarndai, Clybiau Ffermwyr Ifanc, marchnad da byw, neuaddau cymunedol, sioeau amaethyddol ac amrywiol glybiau a chymdeithasau sydd i gyd yn cyfrannu at fywyd cymunedol.

 

Sennybridge is a village located within Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog which is known for its scenic landscapes and outdoor activities. Sennybridge is located approximately 9 miles west of Brecon, 12 miles east of Llandovery and approximately 17 miles North East of Ystradgynlais. Within the Sennybridge area and surrounding local areas the local primary school, village stores, health centre, petrol stations, chapels and churches, public houses, Young Farmers Clubs, a livestock market, community halls, agricultural shows and various clubs and societies all contribute to community life.
